Abstract
We describe the characteristics of an intense electron beam produced by a field emisson diode fed by a Tesla transformer high-voltage (HV) pulser. Beam parameters (current intensity, pulse width, electron energy, etc.) are compared to those calculated, assuming a certain working mode of the HV pulser and solving numerically the resulting differential equation system. The theoretical results agree well with the experimental ones. Keywords
