Abstract
A superconducting magnet is used for an EPR spectrometer working at a frequency of 94 GHz. Magnetic field regulation is achieved by employing an induction coil, whose output voltage is used to drive the magnet power supply. This method avoids a time constant of about one minute, which arises with standard direct current control. The system is interfaced to a computer for calibration, field calculation, data acquisition and for safety precautions. Long term stability of the spectrometer is better than 1*10-6 T/min, and the smallest detected EPR linewidth so far as 5*10-6 T.Keywords
