Abstract
Reaction of ethyl 2-oxocyclohexanecarboxylate (I) with phenyl vinyl sulphoxide (II) and sodium hydride followed by pyrolysis of the resulting phenylsulphonylethyl compound (III) gives the 1-vinyl compound (IV).Keywords
