Abstract
The technics employed in the first 3 successful transplantations of fertilized bovine eggs are descr. Eggs were obtained by killing the donors and flushing the eggs from the excised uteri. Eggs were placed in the uteri of the recipients by midventral laparotomy. A total of 5 transplantations were made. Blood typing showed definitely that the heifers carrying the calves through pregnancy were not their true dams. This publication has 12 references indexed in Scilit:
