Abstract
The reaction between 2‐methoxybenzenediazonium and sulfite ions in aqueous solution was followed by polarography. The polarographic waves of sulfite, diazonium, and diazosulfonate were studied in the pH range of 1‐7. The second order rate constants found at 11° and 20° and the rate constant at 25°C reported in part I were corrected to zero ionic strength yielding values of 400, 700, and 2000 1 mole−1 s−1, respectively. Keywords
