Abstract
An algorithm for the application of the pseudospectral method to the nuermerical integration of the shallow water equations has been developed and tested on the case of steady‐geostrophic flow over the pole. The results show the method produces errors of less than 1 part in 1012 for resolutions as high ?λ = ?ø = π/32.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
