Abstract
The study attempted to replicate an experiment by Canon in which more useful information was preferred to less useful, and high-confidence Ss preferred dissonant information while low-confidence Ss preferred consonant. The present results replicate the utility finding but do not replicate the finding with respect to confidence. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
