Abstract

A SPICE compatible macromodel has been devised for the simulation of ‘current feedback’ type operational amplifiers. Since the major advantage of this type of amplifier is high speed, the emphasis is on the accurate prediction of AC characteristics. A practical example is given, together with a comparison of measured and simulated performance.
