Abstract
Toxicities of optically active nicotines and nornicotines and dl-nor-nicotine in a series of laboratory tests were detd. to be in the following order: l-Nornicotine, d-nornicotine and dl-nornicotine were almost equally, but slightly, more toxic than natural nicotine. d-Nicotine was substantially less toxic than the natural laevo form.Keywords
