Abstract
In order to determine the possible side-effects of retroperitoneal CO2 insufflation, this gas was introduced into dogs in volumes of 872 to 1000 ml/kg at approximately 200 ml per minute. Serial films were taken at 3-minute intervals. No irreversible complications were observed. Keywords
