Abstract
• Xanthelasmoidea is an old term that has been used to describe yellow papules of urticaria pigmentosa. I used it to describe the cutaneous lesions in a young child with 1- to 2-cm oval papules, each of which was studded with 10 to 20 yellow puncta. Biopsy disclosed the puncta to be small nests of mast cells separated by normal dermis. (Arch Dermatol 112:1270-1271, 1976)Keywords
