Abstract
Sections of basal London Clay in the Stour estuary area have revealed a sequence of more than 40 argillized ash layers, which are coeval with those of the Danish Mo-clay and the North Sea 'Ash Marker'. As with the 'Ash Marker', it is uncertain to what extent Hebridean volcanoes or the postulated Skagerrak volcano have contributed to the ash deposits.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
