Abstract
Summary and Conclusions Possibly megacolon occurs with increased frequency in psychiatric patients. Reports of recent experiences reveal the variety of clinical problems that may be encountered and the use of surgery and other measures of therapy in their management. Gangrenous megacolon presents a formidable problem.Keywords
