Abstract
The behavior of queues in ENT [ear, nose and throat] outpatients was stimulated by a computer program. This allowed various appointment systems to be studied and improved to allow a smooth flow of patients through the clinic, in such a way that the idle time of the clinic staff is reduced without increasing patients waiting times. Keywords
