Abstract
The application of ruthenium tetroxide as a phase transfer catalyst in a biphasic system comprised of carbon tetrachloride and saturated aqueous sodium chloride at platinised titanium anode, for the regeneration of spent oxidant, for the oxidation of benzyl alcohol, benzaldehyde and p-anisaldehyde has been investigated. Keywords
