Abstract
The E.P.R. investigation of RbCaF3 : Gd2O3 reveals the Gd3+-O2- n.n. pair which constitutes a bond of an octahedral | GdOF5 |4- complex. The spin Hamiltonian parameters are discussed. Moreover the pair constitutes a sensitive probe for an E.P.R. investigation of the displacive transition which occurs at 193 K in RbCaF3Keywords
