Bilateral Linear Scleroderma En Coup de Sabre

Abstract
Two cases of bilateral linear scleroderma en coup de sabre, one with and one without associated facial atrophy, have been presented. Bilateral involvement in this entity is rare. The relationship of bilateral linear scleroderma en coup de sabre to Romberg's progressive facial atrophy is discussed, the conclusion being that the presence of bilateral linear scleroderma en coup de sabre alone probably represents an extremely mild form of Romberg's hemiatrophy in which there is only cutaneous involvement and the deeper structures are spared.
