Abstract
Naphthalen-acetic acid spray (NAA) effectively prevented fruit drop of apples for 15 days. At 17 days the beneficial effect was dissipated. Addition of 0.5% Carbowax extended the NAA effect to 23 days. 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid was a less effective spray but its effect persisted twice as long as that of NAA and several days longer than that of NAA with Carbowax. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
