Abstract

Considerations responsible for the selection of the digital integrator-time share system for GC automation in our laboratories are discussed. Applications showing the software capabilities and the economics of such an approach are presented. A breakdown of the costs has shown that savings in personnel time can average approximately four thousand dollars per GC per year.
