Abstract

The P–C–P pincer complex, [IrH2{C6H3(CH2PBut 2)-2,6}] catalyses the transfer dehydrogenation of the donor-bearing substrates, ethylbenzene and tetrahydrofuran at temperatures as low as 150 °C.
