Abstract
Willstatter tried to obtain papain from papaya by adsorption on Al(OH). The results did not fit the Freundlich isotherm and were not wholly satisfactory, but the degree of purity was increased 5-6 times. Other operations, as addition of chloroform, extraction with NHOH, precipitation by alcohol, dialysis, etc., increased the activity of the solution.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
