Abstract
The detachable balloon technique is a simple means of accomplishing the endovascular treatment of carotid cavernous sinus and vertebral fistulae [in humans]. This technique has the advantage of preserving the cerebral blood flow, which is impossible with a nondetachable balloon catheter. There was successful treatment in 3 vertebro-vertebral fistulae with a detachable balloon; the vertebral blood flow was conserved. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
