Abstract
The construction and performance of a small‐scale cw HF(DF) chemical laser is described. A multiline output of about 15 W was achieved. During single‐line operation, 18 HF 2‐1 and 1‐0 transition lines, with powers from 0.1 to 2.4 W, and 24 DF 3‐2, 2‐1, and 1‐0 transition lines, with powers from 0.01 to 0.30 W, were observed. Amplitude stability varied from ±1.5 to ±5%, and free‐running short‐term frequency stability was about ±10 MHz.This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
