Abstract
The marine sponge Phakellia carduus obtained during commercial trawling operations in the Great Australian Bight yielded a series of new C23 acetylenic acids, carduusynes (A-E) [(3)-(7)], which were isolated, characterized and identified as their respective ethyl esters [(8)-(12)].Keywords
