Abstract
An integral equation for a three-body continuum wave function is solved numerically in configuration space. The equation has a compact kernel. Knowing the breakup amplitude into three free particles, the asymptotic form for the breakup channel in configuration space can be studied. It turns out that the standard asymptotic form is achieved within a few percent only if the particles are separated by a few thousands of fm’s.Keywords
