Abstract
Eikenella corrodens is a Gram-negative facultative anaerobe which is part of the normal human oropharyngeal flora and an opportunistic pathogen of mucous membrane tissues. We report a case of secondary E. corrodens ulcerative keratitis with hypopyon in a 39-year-old male with herpes simplex keratitis. To the best of our knowledge this is the first reported case of E. corrodens as a pathogen in bacterial keratitis. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
