Abstract
The noise performance of negative conductance amplifiers with outputs via circulators or isolators is developed using a traveling-wave approach. Included is a treatment of a quasi-degenerate parametric amplifier. It is shown that this amplifier has severe limitations as a low-noise amplifier. Keywords
