Abstract
The novel polymer system made up to the host-guest mixture of poly ( ε-caprolactone) and p-nitroaniline, spontaneously exhibits a large second harmonic generation (SHG) intensity 115 times as large as that of urea, or 3.3 times that of MNA. In addition, this material possesses good mechanical strength and long-term stability of the SHG activity over 1,000 hours. Keywords
