Abstract
We used a paired, radiolabeled immunoglobulin technique to showthat LSTRA Moloney lymphoma cells may bind rat IgGa immunoglobulins at either antibody- specific (Fab) or immunoglobulin-specific (Fe) portions of the IgGa molecule. Fe-specific binding is inhibited in the presence of normal rat serum (NRS), whereas Fab-specific binding is not. Sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel analysis of eluted radiolabeled anti-Moloney proteins (bound to LSTRA cells in the presence of NRS) revealed that the bound proteins were indeed immunoglobuli. Keywords
