Abstract
A fatal case of congenital toxoplasmosis is reported. Placental findings and features of hydranencephaly found at autopsy are described and briefly analyzed. The case serves as an example of the importance of placental examinations. Such examinations, unfortunately, have often been neglected in routine evaluation of the sick neonate. Keywords
