Abstract
In this issue of the Journal are three articles about the health of women. Nanette Wenger and her colleagues1 review what is known about the differences in cardiovascular health between men and women: cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death among women as well as men, although it occurs later in life; it is less likely to be treated aggressively in women, and the mortality is higher.
