Field propagation in the Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole

Abstract
We study the dynamics of scalar, electromagnetic and gravitational fields around a Reissner-Nordstrom-de Sitter black hole. Contrasting with the non-charged case, in the RNdS geometry electromagnetic and gravitations perturbations are necessarily coupled. Within the near extreme cosmological constant regime, exact expressions are obtained for the quasinormal frequencies. For a smaller cosmological constant, the wave propagation is studied with two different methods: a higher order WKB approach and direct solutions of the time-dependent wave equations. A full picture is established for the fields' dynamics.
