Abstract
Some information on the number and morphology of human chromosomes was offered in this paper, based on tissue culture materials which were derived from two aborted human embryos. The chromosomes were investigated in several reliable metaphase plates with the application of the colchicine and water-pretreatment squash methods. The consistent counts show the diploid number 46 without exception in every plate studied. The ideogram analysis shows considerable agreement with recent reports. Keywords
