Abstract
Ferromagnets under strong parallel pumping fields beyond the Suhl threshold are studied theoretically on the basis of a symmetric two-mode model. Through a period-doubling route, they are found to display chaotic states characterised by a strange attractor. The experimental possibility of observing such states is also discussed. Keywords
