Abstract

A new species of Hookeriopsis is described from western Panama: H. crosbyi has determinate branches ending in masses of gemmae, strongly plicate, nearly entire leaves, weak costae, incrassate and linear leaf cells throughout, and lacks a stem hylodermis.
