Abstract
Two pairs of cases of HUS [hemolytic uremic syndrome] are reported from 2 generations in a family where 1st-cousin marriages have been frequent. All 4 died. There is apparently a high expected mortality in those familial cases of HUS where genetic factors are strongest. An autosomal recessive inheritance pattern is suggested in this family. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
