Abstract
We develop new stability theorems for the convergence analysis of a class of one and two-time scale time-varying nonlinear systems using averaging theory. These theorems are applied to a class of continuous time adaptive identifiers and model reference adaptive controllers to obtain estimates of the parameter rate of exponential convergence. Keywords
