Abstract
The drumhead model describing the interface separating two coexisting phases is analyzed on a lattice. A strong-coupling transformation allows asymptotic results for the interface fluctuations in the limit of weak pinning to be extracted. The model exhibits roughness for bulk . An exact solution for the free energy in bulk has been obtained. Comparison with work of Buff, Lovett, and Stillinger and of Wallace and Zia is made.
