Abstract
H. taeniaeformis was found in 7.7% of Scottish domestic cats. Solitary worm infections predominated, being present in 47.7% of the infected cats. In light infections, a strong preference was shown by this tape-worm for the middle region of the small intestine. Incidence of other helminths was Dipylidium caninum 50.6%, Toxocara mystax 13.7%, Toxascaris leonina 15.3%. there were 2 cases of infection with Diphyllobothrium.Keywords
