Abstract
New HLA data for the Tirio, Parakana, Kayapo and Mapuche tribes, and supplementary data for the Waiapi, are presented. Taken together with previously published information on South American Indians, these typings show a remarkably homogeneous gene pool with a restricted range of polymorphisms, and a further restricted set of haplotypes. This publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
