Abstract
Vibrio parahemolyticus, a major cause of gastroenteritis in Japan, was isolated from white shrimp (Penaeus setiferus). The organism was pathogenic for brown shrimp (Penaeus aztecus) from the Gulf of Mexico.Keywords
