Acute dystonic reactions in Saudi Arabian psychiatric patients treated with haloperidol

Abstract
The work described in this paper arose from a clinical observation that Saudi Arabian patients treated with haloperidol appeared to suffer extrapyramidal side effects.sbd.particularly acute dystonic reactions, more frequently than European patients. It was decided to study sequential drug free patients requiring haloperidol treatment and the results are presented.
