Abstract
A large number of band spectra have now been discovered and correlated, which are definitely attributable to the CO molecule. It is not proposed to enter in this communication into a general discussion of these, but a summary of the recognised energy levels is given in Table I. Column (1) gives a purely arbitrary designation employed by Birge in referring to them in his papers. Column (3) gives the nature of the electronic levels as at present accepted. Keywords
