Abstract
Twenty six spp. of unarmored Dinophyceae from shallow embayments on the s. shore of Cape Cod were described. Twelve of these were considered as new species and 9 of the remainder showed extensions of range from Europe. Eight genera were represented in this study, Oxyrrhis, Amphidinium with 2 new spp., Gymnodinium with 3 new spp., Massartia, Gyrodinium with 8 new spp., Warnowia, Nematodinium, Polykrikos.
