Abstract
Summary In the course of studies on the effect of fixing and embedding of tumour specimens for immuno–histochemical localisation of placental proteins we noted a substantial increase of chorionic gonadotrophin-like activity as a result of heating. We now report an investigation into the mechanism of this phenomenon.Keywords
