Abstract
The syntheses of perhalogenated sulfines (R2C=SO) and sulfenes (R2C=SO2) are reported. They are very useful reagents for introducing perhalogenated and especially perfluorinated groups into addition and cycloaddition products, e.g. for obtaining active substances or polymers. S-Fluoro-1,3-dithietanes and 1,3-dithietane S-oxides are useful precursors for the aforesaid heterocumulenes. 1. Introduction 2. Difluorosulfine 3. Dichlorosulfine 4. Dibromosulfine 5.
