Abstract
Violence, particularly sexual violence, is a serious problem in our culture. The increasing incidence of serial, sadistic murders, brutal rape, and more graphic media coverage of child molestation have all contributed to society’s increasing concern about sexual violence. Recent victim surveys in the United States and Canada (committee on Sexual Offenses Against Children and Youths, 1984) suggest that approximately 20% of all females and 10% of all males have been or will be sexually assaulted in some way before reaching the age of 21.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
