Abstract
Taurine plays an important role in protecting neutrophils from oxidative attack by excessive HOC1.8, 10 This protection is attributed to taurine functioning as a trap for HOC1 or a competing amine that dose not yield toxic N-Cl derivatives. Wright et al. reported the role of taurine as a scavenger of HOC1 in biological systems.11Keywords
