Abstract
A group of albino rats aged 600 to 640 days was compared with four animals aged 90 to 130 days with regard to their performance on a sequential three-lever chain. The older animals gave significantly more total responses than the younger rats. Mean number of correct responses as well as percentage of accurate responses, on the other hand, favored the younger animals. Increased deprivation did not enhance performance of older animals. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
