Abstract
Histological abnormalities were found in Canada thistle (Cirsium arvense (L.) Scop.) roots after plants received foliar treatments of 4-amino-3,5, 6-trichloropicolinic acid (picloram). These abnormalities included destruction and distortion of cortical cells and cambial and phloem disintegration. Some or all of these conditions were present, depending upon which portion of the root was sectioned. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
